A gala concert in the Center of Medical Rehabilitation of combat veterans
The 10th charitable action «Towards People» was held at the Center of Medical Rehabilitation of combat veterans at the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Hospital of War Veterans on September 15, 2017. For several times now representatives of the Association of public organizations, charitable foundations, educational and territorial centers, art centers, volunteers of Ukraine, sponsors and student movement of the Dnepropetrovsk region, the Dnepropetrovsk regional administration of social protection of the citizens held a festive concert program and presented gifts to ATO participants . International Conference «Social Entrepreneurship as an Instrument of Civil Society for Solving Social and Economic Conflicts Caused by the War» was held on September 14, 2017 in city Dnepr. The inviting party in the Dnepropetrovsk region was public organization «Discover yourself». More than 30 international speakers, including Ukrainian, from 7 countries shared their experience in building social businesses, talked about how social entrepreneurship can contribute to the development of Ukrainian civil society and the solution of social and economic conflicts, what ups and downs can appear during building a social enterprise and how social entrepreneurship can help to encourage people to solve the social and economic problems of small communities. A charitable action «Towards people» was held on July 22, 2017 in a community area for people temporarily displaced from the Donbass region and Crimea, which is located on the residual area Levoberezhny-3 in city Dnepr. These charitable actions have been held since December 2016 in order to attract the attention of the society to the problems of migrants, sick children, disabled children, children deprived of parental care, orphanages, family-type homes and people of socially unprotected groups by representatives of Association of public organizations, charitable foundations, educational centers, volunteers of Ukraine, sponsors, student movements of the Dnepropetrovsk region. On May 25, 2017 was organized the 6 th charitable action in the framework of the project «Towards People». This time representatives of the Association of public organizations, charitable foundations, educational and territorial centers, art houses, volunteers of Ukraine, sponsors and students’ movement of the Dnepropetrovsk region visited the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Hospital of the War Veterans and the Center for Medical Rehabilitation for combatants of the ATO zone. Charitable help and a festive concert program were presented for the veterans who are going through a rehabilitation course.
