A work of art from old tires

The South Korean sculptor Yong Ho Ji chose old tires of different sizes and textures, from bicycle to tractor, as a material for his creations. The master turns rubber into surprisingly realistic figures of animals or fictional characters, and the relief surface of the tires successfully transmits the structure of coats, feathers or scales. Connoisseurs of his work are ready to pay a lot of money for the possession of such a figure. For example, a shark was auctioned for $ 145,000.
