Training in the USA. November 1, Lansing, the capital of Michigan

On November 1, participants of the international training «Regional Economic Development» of the Department of International Trade of the US Department of Commerce were greeted by a number of Lansing organizations: Michigan State University, Center for Public and Economic Development, Department of Agricultural Development, Bureau of Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship. The director of socially responsible enterprise «Techno-Image» Oleg Velichko liked the innovative solution of the shortage of technical personnel: seminars and short 4-6 week courses without a special theory with an emphasis on practice instead of losing a long time to receive technical specialties. These courses are inserted into university programs and provide an on-line flow of fledgling specialist to the commercial sector.

The Regional Economic Innovation Center of the Michigan State University at attracted the greatest interest among the represented organizations.
