On October 26, within the framework of the SABIT regional economic development training program, representatives from 7 countries arrived at the Huntington Beach City Council to exchange experience.
The director of the socially responsible enterprise «Techno-Image» Oleg Velichko was very surprised that the local council has the overwhelming majority of authorities at its level, in contrast to the Ukrainian standard of the prevalence of powers in the supreme government authority. 7 city deputies for 200,000 people independently form a budget with the key task not to manage but to serve the society. The strategic goal of the City Council is to attract the maximum number of taxpayer companies up to hunting them from other cities for tax preferences. Oleg Velichko agreed on partnership relations between local authorities of our region and colleagues from their Huntington Beach.
