Training in the USA. November 6 Washington

On November 6, a meeting of delegates from 7 countries with Miss Lin Knight, Vice President of the International Council for Economic Development was held in Washington as part of the International training of regional economic development.

The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) is a non-profit non-party organization that defends the interests of economic development specialists. IEDC is the largest organization of its kind and has 5,000 members. Specialists in economic development aim to improve the economic well-being and quality of life of their communities by creating, conservation and increasing number of jobs that stimulate growth and improve welfare and provide a stable tax base.

Public organizations and private companies, municipal, local and international participants of the IEDC are engaged in all spheres related to economic development. Such a broad scope implies the presence of participants in government at the local, provincial or state levels, at the federal level, in public-private partnerships, chambers of commerce, universities and a number of other institutions.
