Ukraine celebrates the Day of Older Persons on 27th of September according to the signed UN Convention. A special event, dedicated to this date, was organized at the Art center of AND district at the address 7 Putilovska str, veterans and disabled war veterans, labor veterans and honored teachers of Amur-Nizhnedniprovsky district of the city Dnipro were invited. Veterans and teachers took congratulations from the district and city management, members of the District and Supreme Councils.
The company Techno-Image also took part in this celebration by providing financial assistance for the purchasing of sweet gifts for distinguished elderly of the district. Also CEO of Techno-Image Ltd. Oleg Velichko, who is a Deputy of AND district Council of the city Dnipro, congratulated all the guests of the celebration with this wonderful holiday – the International Day of Older Persons.
The event ended with a solemn concert in which together with on-stage performance children and youth groups performed groups of veteran primary organizations of AND district. All participants and guests of the event gave high praise to the wonderful atmosphere of celebration and tribute to the older generation.
