On April 27, 2017 ended the first cycle of international training on the development of social entrepreneurship in the regions of Ukraine. On April 23, in city Kramatorsk, the first module of the training «Social Entrepreneurship as an Action Strategy for Social Activists on Prevention and Overcoming the Consequences of Socio-Economic Conflicts» took place, in which Oleg Velichko, the CEO of company «Techno-Image», an expert on social responsibility of business. At the present time, social entrepreneurship is one of the most effective innovative business models aimed at solving social, economic and environmental problems. The training is being conducted by the Eastern Europe Foundation and will complete its work on April 27.

On April 12, 2017, on the eve of Easter, within the charitable action «Towards people» its participants went to the orphanage № 1 in city Dnepr, where 22 foster children are brought up (four girls and eighteen boys aged 12-18 years). This orphanage, which has engaged in destiny of destitute orphans and children deprived of parental care for 20 years, is very similar to a nursery-school: it is equipped with cozy bedroom and play rooms, it even has a large computer class. On April 2, in the building of the Dnepropetrovsk central office of company «Kyivstar», the investment platform Startup. Network conducted the 75^th battle of start-ups, which has been conducted for several years. The final of the contest included the 11 best projects from the Dnepropetrovsk region. A small “city” in the Dnepropetrovsk region, in which live people with a difficult fate. They so miss our attention, care and emotional warmth. This is Dnepropetrovsk geriatric boarding house. It is the largest in the Dnepropetrovsk region. Today almost 600 people have found shelter here: they are elderly people and people who are in follow-up by the psychiatrist, and young people who are disabled people of groups 1 and 2 from 18 years and older. On March 21, 2017 in the Dnepropetrovsk Regional Council took place a meeting of the Standing Committee on Science, Education, Family and Youth, during which for the first time on the initiative of public organizations, the changes were adopted of the Program of the Development of Family and Gender Policy in the Dnepropetrovsk region for 2012-2021 in the directions of social entrepreneurship and gender equality. Recently, on February 16, as part of the charitable action «Towards people», a real holiday was given to the Novomoskovsk family-type orphanage of the Lyskin family. 25 boys and girls were made beautiful hairstyles and haircuts, were given toys, sweets, fruits. All children were given collected by volunteers children’s clothing and children’s encyclopedia of 12 volumes. And most importantly, every child was given attention, warmth and a feeling of being taken care of. Children’s eyes shone with joy and happiness, that they are remembered and taken care of. On February 16, the IX International Conference «Social Innovations: New Solutions of Old Problems» was held in Kiev in Nivki-hall, organized by the Ukrainian Charity Forum. The conference brought together delegates from 11 countries and touched upon the main international trends that are being introduced in Ukraine: 1) social innovations for business and non-governmental organizations; 2) positive experience of social enterprises and social responsibility of business; 3) the emergence of a «fourth sector» whose main aim is to earn money, but to spend it not on own needs, but to direct them to resolve urgent social challenges, 4) socially responsible leadership, 5) gender in the social sphere etc. At the same time, there were five discussion sections. Oleg Velichko, Director of «Techno-Image» Ltd., represented the interests of a socially responsible business team that has been engaged in charitable activities and patronship for more than 12 years, has implemented social initiatives in the form of projects, events and actions for the territorial community and the vulnerable social group of the Dnepropetrovsk region. Interregional and international exchange of experience took place, as a result of which the team of the company «Techno-Image» hopes to introduce a number of social innovations in 2017.

Thanks to 15 years of experience in project management and project implementation from idea to final results in business, state and public areas, Oleg Velichko gave a number of practical recommendations and amendments for the implementation and development of start-ups of participants.
