On October 23, international delegates from the SABIT training from Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan were received by the US Department of Commerce in Washington, 1401 Constitution Avenue, near the White House and the Washington Memorial. Each of the 18 participants in the international state program SABIT presented in the US Department of Commerce its region / country and the results of its organization / team on Regional Economic Development. Senior Administrator Barrett Hague and Director for Economic Development Integration (DDI) Doug Lainott shared the management and interaction system between the Federal Department of Economic Development and the states, as well as the projects being implemented in other countries. On October 21, a three-week program «Regional Economic Development» began in the United States, within the framework of the special American program of business training SABIT of the US Department of Commerce. 18 leaders participate in this program, influencing the economic development of their regions from 11 Eurasian countries, which were selected on a competitive basis by the International Trade Administration of the US Department of Commerce. International Conference «Social Entrepreneurship as an Instrument of Civil Society for Solving Social and Economic Conflicts Caused by the War» was held on September 14, 2017 in city Dnepr. The inviting party in the Dnepropetrovsk region was public organization «Discover yourself». More than 30 international speakers, including Ukrainian, from 7 countries shared their experience in building social businesses, talked about how social entrepreneurship can contribute to the development of Ukrainian civil society and the solution of social and economic conflicts, what ups and downs can appear during building a social enterprise and how social entrepreneurship can help to encourage people to solve the social and economic problems of small communities.
